Gearing up for the holiday's

The fall has officially begun and with that comes preparations for the upcoming holiday's. This year is a little different as I am expecting a baby just before Christmas. I have a number of ornaments in stock and will be taking orders up until the middle of December (if all goes well). I am in the process of uploading 12 new ornaments and have a good deal more to make. I may end up on bed rest this time around, so I have decided to keep my spirits high and focus on the positives! I have had a number of requests for custom ornaments this year and am happy to work on this fun and unique projects!

Lucky Charm

Lucky Charm
A little bit of luck never hurt anyone! "Lucky Charm" is the most recent addition to Extraordinary Ornaments collection. It is absolutely beautiful with a side of whimsy. I recently handcrafted "Lucky Charm" for the Grand Marshall of the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Newport. I think She will Love it!!!

I have recently joined facebook. At first I was weary but soon learned how much security I could add to my page so that random people are NOT looking at my conversations and pictures. Now I am catching up with people I had lost touch with over the years. It is so nice to read about new marriages and babies amongst other things!
I also added a page for Extraordinary Ornaments! During the month of February anyone who becomes a fan of Extraordinary Ornaments will be entered into a drawing to win any one ornament of your choice (in stock ornaments only)!
I have also added 4 new ornaments to the Extraordinary Ornaments website: 2 Valentine's Day and 2 Patriotic Ornaments!

Bead Passion!

I have been working on a custom project for a customer who wanted to get both her daughters ornaments with their college/university colors: Syracuse and Marist. I did extensive research on both institutions and wanted to come up with something unique and fun to honor their time in school. After hours, and I mean hours, of google searches, I came aross a woman in the Phillipines who does custom polymer clay beads! I emailed her a photo of what I wanted and POOF it was done in a day and was perfect. It was a whimsical "Otto," the Syracuse mascot. Pictures to come (once the ornaments are delivered).

Check out her other work at!! Tell Helen, Mandy sent you!!!!
